South Korea: 2010 South Korean fastener production was 81 tons, sales were 2.7 billion US dollars, both of which showed growth. This result is due to Hyundai Motor and other domestic production of domestic vehicle growth. 2010 imports of $ 380 million, compared to 2009 290 million US dollars increased by 30.6%, of which imports from China to 35.9% show a high share. Exports were $ 320 million, an increase of 32.1% from $ 240 million in 2009.
Japan: By the impact of the Japanese earthquake, mechanical parts, electronic products and materials and other industries suffered damage, the supply network was cut off, coupled with the lack of power supply capacity, production decreased significantly. Production in January-March 2011 was 680,000 tonnes, a decrease of 4.5% from the previous year and a production value of ¥ 195.6 billion, down 2.1% from the previous year, due to the impact of the earthquake , The number and amount of all aspects of Japan are reduced.
Mainland China: The total value of machinery industry in 2010 reached 14 trillion, an increase of 34%, profits of 900 billion yuan, an increase of 53%. China's total imports of fasteners reached 25.83 million tons, the amount of 2.658 billion US dollars, an increase of 32% and 26%.
Taiwan: Taiwan's screw exports in 2010 increased by 42.93% compared to 2009, reaching 1.28 million tons, the amount also increased 55.29%, reaching 3.2 billion US dollars.
Hong Kong: In 2010, the export volume of screw products in Hong Kong was 32,850 tonnes, up 9% from the same period last year and the export value was US $ 370 million, up 31% from last year. In terms of imports, imports were 44190 tonnes, 27% lower than the same period last year, imports amounted to $ 330 million, but an increase of 20% over last year, showing that import prices are under pressure.
